Dad receiving smooches on the occasion of becoming the first U.S. airline pilot to reach age 60 retirement in 1950. At the time it was a company rule and would not become a federal regulation for another decade.

 

My father, Willis Heath Proctor, was a pioneer airline pilot. This section will cover his life, along with those of my brothers Bill and Bob; all three were involved in commercial aviation.

 

In addition, I will include my mother, Lucena Wood Proctor, half-brother Dick, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and even a great-grand nephew.
